Simone Ori was born in Prato in 1977. After graduating 'Cum Laude' in Piano, Organ (with Claudio Astronio and Federico Del Sordo), Harpsichord (with Annaberta Conti and Roberto Loreggian) and Conducting (Piero Bellugi and Alessandro Pinzauti), he was a postgraduate student in the conducting class of Prof. Mark Stringer and Yuji Yuasa at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst of Vienna.

His repertoire ranges from Monteverdi to the 20th Century up to the most recent composers (Ligeti, Grisey, Valentini, Russo), with a particular dedication to the Viennese Classicism performance practice.
Since November 2012 he’s harpsicord and continuo player of Auser Musici, performing in Halle ( Handel Haus) and Paris (Philippe Maillard Production) and Italy (Barga Festival and Teatro Verdi in Pisa).
Winner of Richard Wagner Venice Foundation's Scholarship for Bayreuth Festival 2013, with concert in Ca' Vendramin- Calergi.
Winner of ILMA Estate 2014 Continuo Competition.
Since 2014 Simone is organ Professor and Principal Conductor of the DmC Ensemble at the Scuola di musica di Fiesole and Maestro al Cembalo for the Gemma Bertagnolli and Furio Zanasi baroque Singing class of the Conservatory of Music in Frosinone.
Since the same year is Continuo player of Gli Archi del Cherubino orchestra.
Actually he works as Stefano Montanari's Musical Assistant in Arena di Verona and Teatro La Fenice di Venezia.
